At 42mate, we are expanding our team for the development of applications with Laravel.

We are looking for professionals committed to software development, with experience in building products, and a strong sense of ownership over the applications they develop.

What We Are Looking For

• Solid and demonstrable technical skills.
• Ability to interact with clients, understand their needs, and translate them into clear requirements. Converting this requirements into well-defined technical specifications.
• Good judgment and experience to fill gaps in poor specifications using common sense and aligning with the shared vision of the development team.
• Ability to organize and prioritize they work, knowing what is important, what is urgent and what is good to have.
• People who is able to tell us what we are doing wrong, how to do it better and finally able to do the improvement.

Requirements

• Solid bases and understanding on how the web works, how HTTP / HTML / CSS / JS and the Servers Side are meld together to create complex web applications.
• Solid experience in relational database modeling and design.
• Strong experience with Laravel and PHP (Eloquent, Services, Facades Queues, Commands, Livewire/Inertia, Events, PHP Unit, Pest, Mockery).
• Experience using and developing REST APIs / SOAP / XML-RPC or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and command-line tools for monitoring, profiling, debugging, and maintaining Laravel applications.
• Experience in deploying and maintaining applications on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, among others).
• Excellent communication skills to interact with different teams and clients (oral, written, and visual).
• Product vision, understanding not only how to code but also how to add business value by transforming requirements into specifications.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions.
• Experience providing production support and proactively resolving incidents.
